Two salmon and crab trips took place on Friday. The bite was decent, but finding keepers was a bit of a challenge. Both groups cut the trip short due to seasickness. Despite this, they had a good time.

Challenging Day on the Water but Still Full of Fun

I took clients on a bottom fishing trip out of Coos Bay today and the fishing was excellent. They caught five limits in under an hour with some very nice fish; my photos don't do them justice. Then they wanted to catch some ling cod. The fishing was a bit slow, but we still caught five fish; they weren't huge, but they'll still taste good. The largest ling cod was 30 inches.
